The number of homeless individuals in our communities continues to increase, leading to challenges related to helping the homeless. At McKinnon Pantry, we are committed to serving our community and families in need with unwavering faith and compassion by providing nourishing food for unsheltered individuals. With the support of our community, we strive to ensure that our neighbors, brothers, and sisters have access to warm meals and shelter.
The McKinnon Food Pantry is not just any ordinary place that collects and distributes food. Our mission is to alleviate hunger, by helping families in need, and provide essential support to the unhoused by offering nourishing food, gently worn clothing, a warm welcome, and a helping hand. Our initiative is driven by our compassion for those who are in need.
Over the past few months, we have achieved several significant milestones in our mission. We aim to provide not only sustenance but also warmth and assistance to those in need, regardless of their circumstances.

As the Founder and President, I have personally experienced going to bed hungry and seeking shelter.
This has been a lifelong passion of mine and I have worked over 20 years helping other organizations fight this same cause now I feel as if I have been called to step out and start McKinnon Pantry.
As the President, I envision a community where no one has to go to bed hungry, "Our goal is to provide, not only sustenance, but also warmth and hope to those in need, all year around."
McKinnon Pantry can be in any town or state throughout the country.
We are driven to ensure that no one in our community goes to bed hungry. Through our faith-based food pantry, we can purchase nourishing food for as low as .31 per pound. This allows us to provide nutritious meals, groceries, and resources to families in need. Providing individuals with access to resources, and promoting optimal physical "well-being", is our top priority.
We believe in the inherent worth of every person, including those who are unhoused. We work tirelessly to assist in locating viable housing and facilitate the unhoused in navigating community resources to enable them to become self-sufficient. We provide essential supplies to those experiencing homelessness, seeking to offer them a path toward stability.
Beyond addressing physical needs, we offer emotional and spiritual support. We create a welcoming and non-judgmental environment where individuals can find solace, a sense of belonging, and opportunities for personal growth.
By fostering unity and understanding, we aim to strengthen the bonds of our community. We invite volunteers, donors, and those we serve to join us in this shared mission, nurturing a sense of belonging, support, and interconnectedness.
We are committed to empowering individuals to overcome the challenges they face. Through education, job training, and access to resources, we strive to help them regain independence and self-sufficiency.
Our mission is to provide families with the necessary resources and knowledge that can enable them to transform their lives. With the support of our community and generous donations, we can achieve this goal.
Your contribution can help us add value to individuals and families in need so that they can then have a positive impact on their local communities. By donating, you will not only help others but also experience a sense of fulfillment and happiness.
